Ehmmmmm Roy, how do I know? I have never grown cukes before, it just grew hahaha.

In our small greenhouse we put up a shelf on two posts to put seed trays on in spring. Underneath the shelf I grow sweet peppers. This year I decided to try a cucumber plant, train the main vine to lie on top of the shelf and cut the side vines after the fruits. Yesterday I noticed the main vine had sagged between the shelf and the windows causing too much shade for the sweet pepper plants underneath. I tried to pull it back up but it was stuck, tried and tried but the vine wouldn't give. So I had to crawl between the pepper plants to see what was holding it down and there it was, behind the post, a monster of 1850 grams.
