Went to the river tame today & got a load of crayfish grate for BBQ

Do you have to have a licence to catch them ?  I thought I once saw Hugh Doobery-watsizname catch them in cook on the wild side or river cottage.

Yes you are meant to have a licence but the signal crays are such a pest no one seems to mind.
