Title: Bye Bye Belgium
Post by: kenkew on August 26, 2005, 19:04:20
After much soul searching I've made the decision to return to the UK. Hundreds of hours at the plot here have transformed a bomb site into a great plot....someone will gain from it. My life will be chucked into the back of a van (again) and I'll cross the water to goodness knows what. First stop is finding somewhere to live, second will be a job and third a PLOT!

One heading out to Spain and one coming back from Belgium.

Spill the beans, KenK, what's brought you to this decision then?  :)

Ken, it's gotta be our Vibrant Second City...lots of vacant lottie plots, variety of homes to rent or buy and jobs throughout England just a train journey away...............ah! I knew there was a catch somewhere  :o

Cheers! Lishka

No, it's got to be Lincolnshire - it's the decision by John Kettley that swung it.

Are you just missing home Ken?  Whatever the reason, good luck with your move.  I guess sometimes you just have a gut feeling that it is time for a change.  Where ever you end up hope you will keep in touch and remember you still have lots of friends here waiting to hear your news.   :) busy_lizzie

You've done it once and made it work so you can do it again, Ken.  You have to go with your gut feeling - life really is too short to live with regrets about what might have been. And after all Belgium is only a hop, skip and jump away if you want to go back - or on to pastures even newer - so long as you and your other half agree  ;) Every good wish for the future anyway - but please don't lose touch.

Thanks all. Main reason is to do with income. Money in only just covers money out. Also after my last visit I relize how old my widowed mother is and I need to be on hand just now. Big upsets here of course but the UK magnet has 10 G'kids powering it!
Bound for North Yorks probably but I really don't have definate plans. No home or job.....I must be crackers!
