Title: Blight dates - when/where
Post by: jennym on August 25, 2005, 23:01:45
This may've been done before, but I can't find it if so. I'd love to know from those who've already been hit by tomato/potato blight, the date hit and location in the UK. If we can keep the answers to one line, it'll be easy to read. i.e
South London 20th August. Thanks. Jen.

I use both of these:

http://www.potatocrop.com/blight/

Not local to this site but quite useful.

Great, thanks a lot, just what I need, no need for any more replies now.

Yes - the grower warnings are fine, but they are only based on areas where volunteers are active?

No one has reported ours on our Nicola last week??

Well Jenny,   it looks as if I'm first, Blight was seen on three plots here in North Somerset on Saturday 27th.

Tomato, Chesham, Bucks, 28th August 2005.

(Though I'm told it hit the lower part of the lotties a few weeks ago)
