I am looking for ideas of things that I can be planting around now? anything that can be going in? is it too late for a crop of peas or beans, or are there late ones that I could still try?
what about garlic etc?
any ideas very welcome
many thanks

:)
Garlic you can plant now. You can sow lettuce, carrots, beetroot, spring onions (all the time), might be a bit late for peas but I'd have a go, courgettes. Lots of things.
If you look through the pages of this Basics section, there is some good info.
thats great thanks
had a good look around everywhere over the weekend and the range of seed available at the moment is really low - any tips on where to go to pick up seed?
last week wyevale were selling seeds at half price.
Also internet seed companies sell all year around.
Winter spinach a good bet for sowing now.
How strange I have only just copied this from my Organic gardening book as a reminder for me to purchase peas for winter and beyond. ;D
Must be your lucky day, ;) oh! And welcome aboard. ;D
