That sounds very good indeed Tim.  Have you tried it?  Problem for me is, my cherrys are turning red and yellow quicker than we can eat - I don't think the effect would be the same using beefsteaks!

No - not that one, but it's similar to one that a local Danish friend used to do.

Thanks Tim.  As the toms are coming very very fast on the plot now (at least 12 varieties I believe!) I reakon I could make a half measure batch of this from my green cherry's in the greenhouse.

definately gonna try that this week. (much better than waiting to see if toms go red before they go brown with blight)
