Title: Frog Surprise!
Post by: wardy on August 16, 2005, 08:47:40
Just rescued a frog (or toad - big un) from my water butt.  How did it get there?  It must have been raining cats and frogs  ;D

Good job I saw the splashing and waves going on or the poor thing could have been there for ages  :o

If it was a toad (brown, rough skin, relatively short legs) they're incredibly good climbers.

What a lucky toad/frog  ;D

We had to attach tiny chicken wire to the bottom of the wrought iron gates of the pool to stop them gtting in there  ::) as l used to find them floating by the steps  :'(

I have not had a second frog turn up in the pond-I-haven't-got.  I did not think I would not get frogs so soon and was happy not having just one.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Redclanger.  I know a double negative = a positive but what about 3 negatives ?  Does that mean that you have 3 frogs.  ??? Don't worry I wont tell anyone.  ;D ;D ;D

That's what the school teacher said, and then added that two positives do not make a negative. To which Johnny at the back of the class says: Yeah. Right.  :D :D :D
