I still haven't managed to get any further forward with the froggies yet  ??? but I'm going to persist  :P

Now that I'm getting more sleep these days I've managed to activate another brain cell  ::) that's two in operation now so there'll be no stopping me  ;D

I can do bold italics underlined  glow[shadow=red,left,300] shadow[/shadow] and I can even get the words to :o

It took me long enough  :-[ but I'm a stubbord old ............ (just fill in your own word here)

I'm off to Boots again to make sure I've got plenty of earplugs for  the festive season  ;) Just hope I don't sleep through my visit from Santa!!

O.K. I'm stuck how to you get the words to glow and travel across the screen?

Heading should read "I'm getting there" - see I can spell - honest. I think my second brain cell has had enough for one day!   :-[

Hiya Eileen, it's a boxes-in-boxes trick. Select the first thing you want, then inside the brackets put the second, then inside their brackets put your words..

Now...this takes a steady hand and a bit of precision, so, no! I'm not about to give you a demonstation right now ;) Lish

Blimey at this rate I'm going to be an expert  ::)  Now to figure out the little green froggies  ??? :-/

'Scuse me for butting in on your conversation, but there is a much easier way of getting the brackets round whatever you want to add tags to.

Write what you want to write, then use your mouse to highlight the word or sentence (click and drag).

Once it is highlighted, click on the tags you want, and it will wrap them around your words. No steady hand required!

Just checking this works...

Aw  com'on you guys Ive only just picked up my varifocals and believe me they are taking some getting used to.  Im feeling quite seasick looking at the mail.  :P Maybe when I am used to them I will give all the funky stuff a go.  :)

I hate to be a kill-joy as i used to use Marquee myself but feel I must draw your attention to Website Suggestions and the use of Marquee withregards to the partially sited.

You can change the glow colour by typing the name of the colour where red is ie glow=blue.  HTML accepts most everyday colour names but black won't work (cos you wont be able to see the text....)

Not being used to such facilities on a MB, it will take me a bit of time to learn all the tricks as well. But like you I'll get there :)

See I am learning already. Its a lot easier than even underlining on the BEEB. ;D
