Title: Mystery tools
Post by: bupster on August 12, 2005, 17:05:11
I've inherited some extremely rusty tools in my half a shed and would like to bring them back to life. However i'd quite like to know what they are first! There's one, which unfortunately will have to have a new handle, that looks like half a man trap, and another that seems to be a cross between a claw type cultivator and a hoe. Any ideas?

Have you got any pics, Bupster? My Dad has loads of old tools in his shed, he's a farmer, than I could ask him, cos, sorry ???, but not a clue!! Wouldn't try squeezy squeezy test on them...... Lottie ;D

I'll try to take some over the weekend, but will have to scan them in so may take some time...

Unfortunately squeezy squeezy drop test did for the half hoe-half man-trap, as the poor thing had been rotting in the half a shed. I'll bring it back to life as soon as I know what it is ???
