Thank you all so much for all your good wishes.  I have had a lovely day.  Hub and I went to Arundel Castle and then on to Chichester where we had a look around the lovely Cathedral.  Here are one or two photos of our visit.

Loved the pics of Arundel Castle Mr W's middle name is Arundel (his Mother's maiden name) and tho he says he must have "noble" blood I tell him it must be from the wrong side of the blanket - and it's ENGLISH!! (no OFFENCE INTENDED ;) ::)

I have never heard of the name Arundel as a surname Wicker - tell your hub that I too like to think of myself as having royal connections as my name (Patricia) apparently means 'of noble birth' so you can see I felt quite at home there ;) :D ;D
