Title: Help! Where can I buy acetate sheets?
Post by: Maddy on August 09, 2005, 13:06:17
I don't know if anyone can help me because I've been looking myself for a week, but I'm looking for sheets of acetate that are A2 or A3 in size.  I'm making a stained glass window for my niece for her birthday on acetate so that it's transportable to other homes and all I can find is A4 acetate...and I've got that!  Does anyone know of any craft stores that may stock it?

Any help much appreciated...I'm running out of time  :(

You can get it on big rolls for using on the big printers but A2 and A3 should be available locally from a stationery suppliers.  The companies who supply rolls of ink jet paper will stock the acetate too.  We used to use it quite a lot on our HP big printer in the rolls but also as large individual sheets too.  Have a ring round your local office suppliers

Try your local printers, they may be able to help.
