Title: Sprout plug plants?
Post by: Mothy on August 03, 2005, 23:04:12
I find myself in the shameful position of having no sprouts to plant out  ::) ::)

Can anyone tell me if it possible to buy plug plants to grow on and if so where from?. I feel I am far too late to sow seeds. I looked at Dobies but they seem to have only broccoli and cabbage etc.

I knew I'd forget something!!

I got some from a garden centre last weekend, as my earlier sowings were completely munched away after planting out  :-\

I think S.E.Marshall still have them, but they aren't on-line. You can get a catalogue from : catalogue@marshalls-seeds.co.uk <catalogue@marshalls-seeds.co.uk>
or you can phone 01945 583407
(I've used them myself but only for seeds)

you still have time to grow these from seed if you don't mind having a slightly later crop.

I got some from The Fruit & Vegetable Company, Station Road, Terrington St Clement, King's Lynn, PE34 4BR  Tel: 01553 825730

They might have a web site but I can't find it.
