Only save the seed if you have grown an open pollinated variety and not an F1.  Saving pepper seeds is easy.  Scrape them ot, rinse them and leave them to dry.  Then place in a paper bag in an airtight container ready for planting in the spring.

Yes, I've done this 3 years running now no problems.

My arum lilies have been beautiful this year and they have huge seed pods now, where the flowers used to be! I would like to grow some more lilies from these seeds but have no idea how to go about this. Do I wait until the flower heads/seed pods dry up completely? Do I store them? When should I try and plant them? Would appreciate any advice.

Never done this myself, but I'd wait until they start to drop naturally - then they'll be ripe - and plant them in a pot of compost straight away. I'd sink the pot into the soil so the surface was level, near to where the existing plants are. Next year, I'd check the pot and any that had germinated and grown, I'd transplant direct into the soil. Then grow them on through the second year, and I'd expect flowers the third year.
