Title: Is this mildew?
Post by: daisymay on July 31, 2005, 16:40:25
This is on my sweet peas - is this mildew?

I read somewhere (prob on here!) to spray it with milk/ water mixture, but wanted to check the diagnosis first?

Thanks guys, as ever!

i have the same thing on my squash leaves :(
and earlier, on my lamb's lettuce - though have pulled that up and destroyed.

diagnosis and course of treatment would be helpful indeed!

any of the experts out there?

Yes, it's mildew and my sweetpeas have it too.   :(

Spray with 1 part full fat milk to 9 parts water and don't forget to wash the container out thoroughly afterwards, unless you are found of the smell of sour milk!   ;)

Well, once a week is the recommended dose but if it has worked that's great!   ;D
