Title: Vinegar bottles
Post by: Bagpuss74 on July 29, 2005, 21:19:29
Hi all,

I have been trying to locate a stockist of new vinegar bottles as I intend to make some Raspberry vinegar.  Got the vinegar and raspberries but no bottles  :-\

Anyone know an on line or local to Derbyshire stockist?

Many thanks.

Bagpuss Hi  :)   I've been looking for rasp vin for my beetroots but have not found any.  Looked in Tesco, Co-op, Somerfield etc and come up with nowt.
I would have thought someone would make it  :)

Thanks all, most useful!

Wardy - we have found that some health food shops and garden centres (not nurserys!) stock the stuff but as it is a bit of a price we intend making some in future  :P

Bagpuss    I wanted some as I bought some beetroot from Tesco and it was lovely.  it was cooked then steeped in rasp vinegar and honey.  So I thought I'd try and recreate it.  I'll extend me search as I don't think I'll ever get round to making any. No rasps any road
