Title: Tea & Cake anyone?
Post by: rosebud on July 27, 2005, 16:16:43

I spotted this little fella when I was sitting in the garden with a cup of tea and a muffin.  I knocked him into a plant saucer before going to catapault him over the fence.  Suddenly I heard this rustling sound behind me.  When I turned around, he was eating what was left of my muffin!!!   ;D ;D :o ;D ;D

urgh!!  I can stand most insects and bugs, but slugs really turn my stomach.  Don't think I would want to eat another muffin after that image.  :o busy_lizzie

Blimey Adam04    I quickly looked up Rosebud's profile to see what part of the country she  lives in ;D ;D Then again I could always lob it over the fence to land in the wilderness of the nearby neighbours garden ( Don't let me start on that one :) ???) Lorna.

Hi folks ,no there isen`t a garden on one side of us just all shrubs and a parking space,i cannot kill things so they get lobbed over the fence, with some force to go a good distance i might add ;D ;D ;D.

A couple of weeks ago we moved some pots and found at least a dozen snails, we got them in a pot and over they went, soon after my husband heard a passerby say blimey don`t they have a lot of snails around here i woulden`t like a garden this way. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.

Brilliant photograph Mary!!  ;D

Those are the slugs my size 8's come in very handy for squishing. Used to take them to the graveyard to release them instead of killing them but not now.  :P

Rosebud. Was only joking, hope you didn't take O   FFENCE (that word again ;D) When I removed some ivy from  the side of my garage I counted 25snails clinging to the side of the garage. Have to admit I am not as soft hearted as you... birds had a good dinner., Happy snail hunting. Lorna.

Lorna, i am just a coward not soft hearted you should hear the language we don't need any blue flowers, ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. When we used to get song thrushes in the garden we used to leave them on the steps for a little while they nearly always went used to find the shells , but alas we don`t get any thrushes now :'(
they seem to have vanished.
