Title: Moggle's Toms, Cuke and others
Post by: Moggle on July 23, 2005, 08:51:00
Thought I'd share a few more of my photos. My toms at home are romping away!

Craigella, which is a bush, and is just going everywhere. 6 trusses set or flowering at the moment, and I don't know when to stop it

Gardeners Delight - going nicely and even gave me a big side shoot that has rooted and now itself has 2 trusses. Trying to decide when to stop this one too.

One of the cucumber plants that I grew for my MIL has set fruit! Hurrah. This one is about 5 inches now

My garlics plaited and ready to hang up, when I find somewhere, and they stop smelling so strongly  :)

Some of the sweet peas I grew on the allotment. Shame you can't smell them, they are all highly scented varieties.

I put just one garlic clove in my shed to dry and when I opened the door it smelled lovely.  Just like a deli  :)  I now have loads of them and they're red skinned.  Taste fab  :)

Thanks everyone. I'm quite chuffed with the garlic, looks okay despite all the rust it had. You can see some of the ones on the left hand side didn't bulb up very well though.

Later this year I will start afresh, looking at buying some of the Isle of Wight garlics, probably through Dobies.
