Not owning a car, I don't know but I do remember when we were in Indonesia, drinking water was more expensive than petrol.

Didn't notice (just like a woman) seriously I only spend £10per week on fuel and that gives me the chance to do my own shopping visit friends etc etc. However I looked at yesterdays receipt and here in the Fens (March)  I paid 90.9 for unleaded. Maybe local Tescos is a bit cheaper but would cost the extra coppers to go there. Lorna

;D If we were all to stick with lesser known petrol companies, Big  Petrol companies that Texus money of us would lower their prices as it would crease em and we wouldn't have to Shell out so much. ;)

Get my drift ;D

Roy the price I  quoted was from a JET garage which I don't class as a big company but it is one of the most expensive in the area.  I just hope the privately owned garages get a better profit than we did when we owned a garage., and we went on to the forecourt come rain or shine to serve customers we still enjoyed it.Lorna.

Here in Leicester many of the small independants are closing down their petrol sales departments so that the big boys seem to be heading towards a form of  price cartel.

The supermarkets do some of the cheapest prices ....but for how long?
