Your ground does look rather dry but the plants look lush and very healthy !

Thanks all.

I am praying for rain this weekend, the forecast says we will get some..........

When digging on Friday there is still some moisture below ground, one advantage of a heavy soil is it will hold a bit but dries on the top.
