I have already harvested 2 aubergines so far.  The only thing I'm not sure about is when to harvest my "Thai" aubergines, which are long and green and thin - not sure how big they are supposed to get.  If anyone knows, please do tell!

The only thing I can say is - don't go for 'big'. Try one before the seeds set.

I'm still waiting for mine to go shiny. They're still resolutely matte...

Admittedly they are probably delayed by the spider mite problem, but all the same I've got half a dozen of them all getting imperceptibly bigger.

is the plant and

a close-up of my fruits. They're about 5" long.  Hopefully they'll ripen in tandem with the tomatoes so I can make a large batch of ratatouille!

Without knowing the type, I can't say more. You may have one that proves me wrong. I can only quote the norm. But they look great!

I've got a fine white powdery substance all over my aub plant.  is this possibly why my flowers fall off and dont seem to set.
