I've got this lovely rose in my garden (well actually the flowers have finished and I now have lovely brownish hips) and wondered if anyone could tell me what sort of rose it is. Many thanks!

(Ignore the green leaves - those are my crocosmia!)
Sorry that I can't help with an id Plocket but I love that rose, it is so pretty and I love the idea of the brownish hips. I'll be watching to see if someone can id it so I can go and buy one :)
If I get babies Jessevieve I'll let you know and post you one!
Oooh, I'd love babies, thanks! ;D
You'll have to remind me in the Spring!!!!! I mean it in all seriousness Jessevieve - remind me and I'll dig one out if we have some. I can bung it in a toilet roll or something and post it to you. Don't forget now, and don't be shy about reminding me - I've a memory like a sieve!

Okay Plocket, I won't be shy and I'll remind you next year, I'll put a note in my sowing diary so I don't forget, thanks ;D
Hi Jessevieve!
I think it's been identified - Rose Rubrifolia (Rosa Glauca). Google it and see if it's still the sort of thing you want, then we'll work on babies!
Did a google Plocket :) looks lovely and I've got just the spot in mind for it, outside the chicken run. :D
Ok! Hold that thought!!!
