Wow they are fab!
Could you take a pic of the whole patch? I bet it is a delight to see.
no wonder you still had leftovers very recently :D
wow, what do you do with all that stuff? amazing.
interesting to see a white flower - what variety?
So how many do you pick a day, EJ??
super collection ;D
I am picking on average, 10 every other day, but of course, this goes up and down! Nice cucumber today, plus enough gherkins to try and dill pickle them. Not a patty pan in sight and I know I planted some! As for the white flowered squash....I have no idea what it is as at the moment it is fruitless, and the label is naked! It is a friendly squash though as the leaves and stems are smooth. An overall picture doesn't really look that impressive, just a sea of green as the fruits are all hidden beneath the foliage, but I will take one next visit.
Coo err missus! Looks fab! Mine is soooooooooooo far behind this year I am wondering if I shall get any squash at all!
Looks great EJ.
Great pics e.j,the white flowering,i have grown one also, the leaves are soft almost fury.
Mind boggling :o How do you do it ??? ;D
I n my dreams EJ I would have an enormous plot and grow fab veg like yours. You must work really hard on your lottie and the results must make you feel really proud. Well done ;D ;D
So what is it Ruud? If you have one, the seed must have come from you! ;D
EJ! You set far too high standards!! Inspirational but for us newbies, that sense of will we ever get our own Garden of Eden like EJ's? :)
EJ I want to know how you find the time for all the other jobs that have to be carried out by a Mum/Wife.?? Do you ever sleep? :) Seriously have you ever made a note of hours you spend in the allotment and garden each week?? It all looks just wonderful. Lorna.
Wonderful, just wonderful EJ.
EJ, I think a sea of green will look impressive to me especially since I know what lurks in amongst it! I'm really interested in the photos of people's lotties, as mine is such an awful mess. I'd like to see what it looks like to have one as fine as yours!
Must be something from bosnia. We have to wait what is growing on it.
two questions:
1) how big is your plot, you have so much srtuff it must be almost a farm!
2) any pics of your fruit cage yet?
Great pics EJ ;D It looks fab :) I am trying to have a squash fest too but mine are not as well on as yours but I'm not daft! I gave some of my seedlings to my plotty mate to nurture and his are going great guns so between us we'll be squashed up senseless ;D Ta for the seeds swops Loz and Moggle (or was it Multiveg :)
Heidi - what about a plot update with pics ???
Wardy
EJ they look fab. Nearly enough varieties for Dan to organise a name that squash comp!!!!
wonderful pictures EJ.
Mines still no where near yours yet :-\ Not even one :'(
so many variety you have.
How do you eat all them ???
yuet
A bumper crop EJ. All look fabulous. Mine are okay but yours are out of my league. Very impressed! :) busy_lizzie
The problem is, they have romped away soooo fast, that they have smothered all of my sweetcorn plants!
We don't eat them all Yuet. Some I give away to friends and family, some are carved at Halloween, and the rest, slowely but surely, we eat. I make a lot of soup as that seems to be the favourite with the family, but I love squashes all different ways, so some of the smaller squashes are more practical.
