Absolutely gorgeous pics! I could almost hear the waves lapping at the shore! Especially adore the pic with the boat and the kids playing! Sort of thing you see in a gallery painted by John Paintalot in his restful period!
Fabulous!!!!!!!!
Beautiful photos Heldi !  Make me feel homesick :(  Have you taken any of Bamburgh Castle from a distance along the beach ? That has to be my absolute favourite view of Northumberland.
the picture with the boat is fabulous! you cant see where the sea end and the sky begins. absolutely beautiful.
you have a good eye for photography
WOW Heldi - what a beach ::) Beautiful photos :)
Hi Guys! I'm so pleased you liked the pics.
The sea was spookily calm that day. When we went paddling you could stand in amongst shoals of little fish and see the flat fish scarpering before they were stood on. It was so blue and yes you couldn't see where the sky ended and the water began. The water was warm too... never said that before about the North Sea!
MagpieDi I promise to take some pics of the beach at Bamburgh for you., Infact I think next time we go to the beach we shall have a little trip up there. Haven't been for ages.
But so CROWDED, Heldi!!
