Title: Metal sheds and Greenhouses?
Post by: Rose.mary on July 11, 2005, 18:15:27
I think (hope) I am going to be offered the chance of the biggest plot on our site(approx. 400 sq.yds.) and I will be looking for a new shed and greenhouse. Two things please.
1.  Your thoughts on metal sheds, pros and cons.
2.  Can you buy greenhouses complete with polycarbonate, and if so where?
I am hoping for some response, you have never let me down yet, and I value your opinion and experience. I would hate to make a big mistake.

Rosemary

Hi,
i am a novice at this greenhouse lark but in May I purchased a GUARDMAN greenhouse all polycarbonate from Altons in Essex.

I think it depends on size. mine is small 6' by 6' but I know they do them to at least 10' by 10'.

Mine is good. They also erected it but I suppose this depends a bit on where you live.

Jack.

Try www.greenhousesdirect.co.uk.  They have a good selection and also lots of offers.  Delivery charge £15 in UK.

Otherwise, try ads in local papers but you have to be quick!

Metal greenhouses require less maintenance than wooden ones and seem to be fine.  Let's face it, loads of peeps use them extremely successfully!

Happy hunting!  :D
