Don't know if anyone is interested or not but we are feeling pretty smug about progress on our heavily overgrown plot.
We got access to it on 11 June for hte first time and this is what it looked like from the "bottom" of the plot towards the trees.

Almost exactly a month on and this is the view back the other way (the "bottom" is totally overgrown with knee high weeds now so am staying away from it until they die down!)

In the bays are tomatoes & cucumbers, mizuna, butternut squashs, endive & raddichio, turnips (pigeons like them :( ), Kale (pigeons LOVE them >:( ) and french beans at the far end.
We are gradually working on the weeds at the top end which will be where the fruit beds and shed will go. The majority of hte weeds are redshank & fat hen, with an unhealthy dose of bindweed, dock, couch, elder and thistle mixed in. Plenty of nettles at the top end too!
Am very happy with the progress we've made though. Keeping photos is great too as it reminds us how much we have accomplished :)

You seem to have done a lot of work since 11 June! It looks an enormous plot :o
Mine is like that - all plastic ;D I've planted the squashes hopefully to romp all over the sheet mulch hopefully then it will disappear under all that foliage and fruits.
Ever the optimist :)

You have been busy! Looking good.
Good to see you're keeping at it! :) :) :)
