Title: Gatekeepers
Post by: Heldi on July 09, 2005, 23:26:41
Here are my gatekeepers. They are my grumpy heros. They keep the old dragon who lives at the back of my garden at bay.  ;)

Heldi. Glad to report I had a good nights sleep ;D I must admit that with the sun shining this morning they look quite welcoming other than if you are and old dragon!! May they keep defending you and your castle.  :) Lorna.

Oh Heldi they are wonderful! Poor dragon though - what if it's a friendly dragon? He might just want a bit of company!

Heldi, I thought you had a dragon-slaying cat for that sort of thing ... .  Or are they there to protect the dragon from the cat?

I'm glad you like them! I love gargoyles and such like. As long as they aren't whimsical. My gargoyle sits on the windowsill indoors. He wears tinsel around his horns at Christmas.

Unfortunately I was being rather naughty about the "old dragon". Spook the Dragon Slayer has met more than his match as the woman who lives at the back of us throws stones at him  :(  >:(

All other friendly dragons are very welcome.

I really love them Heidi, they are fab.

Do you know my brother had a dearly loved gargoyle which he cememted and bolted onto his front garden post and people often passed comment as he 'welcomed' them in.

Then one night a big car pulled up with tools, and managed to chisel him off and steal him.

Beggars belief doesnt it~and all in a quiet cul~de~sac  :(
