Have been dying to get some photos of my lottie on here, cos I'm pleased with how most of it is going. Here goes:
Sweet peas with tomatoes behind. This half of the lottie had been cultivated at least last year, and he must have put some improver in to it, the soil down here is not compacted, and was easy to turn over.

From the opposite end of this bed, with little tiny asparagus seedlings at the front and the toms behind. The asparagus are Jersey Knight and Connovers Colossal, and the toms are Gardeners Delight, Roma and Golden Sunrise (from swap with Aqui), and Craigella.

Lots of flowers on the toms, this is the first one to set - a roma

My raspberries, Glen Ample at the back, Galante at the front. Galante in particular are doing great, apparently they will crop twice a year!

My onions, red baron and turbo (slightly over-run with bindweed :-X) and spring onions and leek seedlings near the front. Not sure if they have flopped over cos of the bindweed, if they are nearly ready for harvest, or if the heavy rain last week did it.

My one remaining lettuce that the slugs haven't had :'( A marvel of the 4 seasons from a swap with MarkyB.

At the back of this one is what's still to come of the spuds, then onions with some grazing rye on the left. Those first 2 beds were covered with black plastic for several years so are slightly less bindweed infested, but the ground was very compated.

The very depressing top section, mostly overgrown with bindweed! Have some sweetcorn at the far end through weed fabric, and then at this end brassicas under fleece.

At home my growbags of loose-leaf lettuce and strawberries.

WOW, well done Moggle! It all looks great! I too have a bind weed prob, and was marvelling from afar the other day how well my runners had grown......yup you guessed it got up close and it was bindweed! >:(
You are doing great! ;D
Great pics Moggle. don't worry about compacted soil - you can still plant in it. Sprouts, cabbages, peas and broad beand don't seem to mind it :) Note what you say about onions. Mine flopped over so I thought they were ready (very good size) so I have harvested those that have flopped but I don't think they're ready as they are milky inside. Or maybe I'm supposed to hang them up to dry but it was raining :-\
Thanks for posting the pictures. It is so nice to see the allotments of the members here.
It looks like your tomatoes are doing well and I was very impressed by the strawberries in grow bags.
Great pics Moggle - am soooo jealous of your strawberries in growbags. Mine are a quarter of the size with no fruits on yet. When did you plant them?
Nice work moggle, i expect the onions are ready for harvesting, they'll need laying out to dry when you do :)
Looks great Moggle, and your strawbs are amazing! :D
Doris - Glad I'm not the only one with a bindweed problem. Oh well, I spose I can still compost the green bits. Just pulled up a load of it today to sow some more peas.
Wardy, have planted some cabbages straight in to part of the compacted soil through the weed-supressing fabric, under the fleece, and so far so good, apart from some munching by birds, I think they are a real problem on our site.
Ina, Piglottie and Jessevieve, the strawbs were planted april/may last year, so this is their second year. The ones in the photo are Florence, and at the other end are cambridge favourite. 2 of the florence have died (there were originally 10) and the closest 2 seem to have flourished in the extra space. The CF haven't done nearly as well, and I think if I did it again, I'd put fewer plants in, or use one of those 'instant planters' or stack the growbags together.
Simon, thanks for the tips on the onions
