As some of you already know we keep three hens in our garden. Earlier this year one of our hens went broody and we decided to put some fertile eggs under her to hatch. The chicks are eight weeks old now, three girls and a boy. I need to think of some names for the girls, (the boy won't be named because we won't be keeping him) any suggestions? Here's what the girls look like, two Silver Dorkings and one Barnevelder.

has the dorking silver got a different amount of toes???
Mum was born & bred in dorking and the symbol is the cockrel?
Yes, the Dorking chicken has five toes as opposed to the usual four toes, some other breeds of chicken also have five toes but it's not that common. The Dorking C0ckeral is the symbol for the town Dorking (not too far from where I live), it's also one of the oldest breeds of chicken in the UK and is now a rare breed chicken.
Thanks for that, mum has lived in horley round the corner from me for many years now but still goes to church in dorking, remember her mentioning the cockeral from time to time!
Lovely chicks ;D ;D.
