This doesn't seem fair at all. I have got big aubergine plants but no fruit I think because male and female flowers never seem to be open at the same time. Having the same problem with my courgettes.
Looking very good, and that has to be Galaxy Mixed Sweet peas!
Jerry
Just amazing Jess ! A wonderful harvest !
Marymary, I'm having exactly the same problems as you. :(  Fingers crossed things improve soon !
Aubergines have complete flowers. Perhaps you could try manual pollination?
;) What a lovely harvest, well done Jess ;) so far we have sampled new potatoes, peas Avola, lettuce iceberg, cos and radish, all delish and yummy. ;D
I did the paintbrush pollination thing with my aubs, one of the plants (the one in the middle) now has three little aubs on it but they are smaller than the other's producing just the one. The aubs definitely need picking because the plants are now starting to lean over with their weight. I don't think the plants grew very big because there are three planted in a trough - I ran out of pots to plant them into!
Yes Jerry, Galaxy Mixed
What beautiful fresh looking veggies ! Well done Jess. ;D
Nice aubis mine are far from that, have to wait. The rest of the veggies looks alright, great job.
Deeply envious me. :)
Thank you for your replies, the aubegine is Moneymaker incase anyone is interested to know. :)
gorgeous and fabulous pics and produce Jesseveve! I am so envious of your corn! So early already! Mine are still only ickle bitty babies! I grew money maker aubs last year and they were very good indeed and I was amazed how quickly they grew! Again, my aubs are only just in flower. You's a clever old fing huh! All that, and glorious soap too! (which reminds me, did the acanthus ever do the business?) ;D
The acanthus is looking very healthy indeed EJ, no flowers but I don't imagine that will happen until it's established, perhaps next year. The corn at home (pictured) is doing very well but I did sow them very early. The rest of the corn plants are at the allotment and looking pretty small by comparison.
What a feast for the eye. Thank you so much for showing all those lovely veggies.
Isn't it amazing what all we can grow with a bit of know-how, lots of work and some luck.
