Great photo - I had to stand still in the back garden yesterday for about 5 minutes because a Red Admiral decided it needed to have a bit of a rest and bask on my shirt.  At least I wasn't bored because I had something good to look at whilst i was standing there looking a bit strange  ;D

Thanks Lorna and RedClanger, I do like taking photos.  I have had a camera most of my life but got a new Digi. one so I am a bit trigger happy now.  I still can't get used to not having to 'pay' for each photograph.  Hope you managed to get back to sleep Lorna.  There is nothing worse than a sleepless night.

;) ;)

Carol. Finally got back to sleep at 4am. Had a long lay in 9am. Usually the pesky dog gets me up about 6.30am but as I am off to a Ruby Wedding do tonight she is in kennels. Spoilt thing she is never left in the house on her own but she loves the kennel maid. Our kids bought my late husband and I a digi camera for our Golden anniversary in 2002 and  I must have taken hundred of photos but unfortunately I am not much cop at photography. As you say nothing to pay!!! So it is not too bad when I mess up so many. (delete button has come in handy!! ) Regards Lorna

GW  you say you have no butterflies your way, heck we have loads here in the Borders.  I had 3 more today going round my flowers whilst I was weeding.

New category for the A4A show - best butterfly  ;D
Great photos everyone - keep 'em coming.  Unfortunatley the only digi camera I have got is the school one and I am not that impressed - I press the button and it takes a picture about a second later - by which time any butterflies have long gone.
