I'm an avid reader of these boards but, being shy ::) and inexperienced, I very rarely post (the fact that I use my work's PC may also have something to do with it!!)
However, after 29 years with 14 spent as head of department, I am leaving tomorrow on voluntary redundancy because specialist knowledge is no longer required (according to senior management) >:(, so I will no longer have easy access to A4A. I'm going miss you all dreadfully but the good news from my point of view is that I'm going to update my home PC & buy a digital camera with part of my payoff.
In the meantime, I'm going to have lots of time to spend on my plot and what a lovely backlog of postings I'll have to catch up on when I connect up again.

Welcome to the ranks of the serioulsy leisured. I 'retired' over 12 years ago now becuase of ill health and whilst there is little money in it, I would not swap the situation for any job. Hopefuly you too will find pleasure and satisfaction in the next stage of your life.
