oh for heavens sake oz  - stop this flagellation and have a bloody f*g! Think of the mental turmoil and stress you are saving yourself. wait until it is a bit sunnier and there are many many tasks at hand and give up then. till then, just hibernate with a fat j and think of summer.

Fab article in the Guardian Guide this week, about the shock tactics of "don't smoke" advertising.  The author reckons that cos smokers tend to see themselves as "hard" having started smoking behind the bike sheds as a statement against authority, these ads don't work.  Smokers are too hard to worry about dying, clogged arteries etc.

The recomendation was to point out to smokers that they are weak, rude, annoying and they stink.  They recommend the the slogan for 2005 "stop smoking" advertising should be

"If you smoke, you're a tw*t"

Lovin it  ;D

(should stop smoking really  :-[)

Hi Folks,

My GP does acupuncture for FREE.  ::)  Had it to help with the pain in my knees before I got them replaced. Helped a little but knees were too far gone by then.

To change the subject completely as I'm totally p...ed off with these bl...y pop-ups. Does anybody know of a downloadable pop-up buster/killer that actually works without mucking up your e.mails by treating them as pop-ups? We had a good one on trial called GODZILLA but my husband won't pay for it now the trial is over - meanie - so if there's good free one that would be great. Meanwhile back to gnashing my teeth!!  :-X Cheers Eileen.
