Title: moving asparagus?
Post by: David R on June 27, 2005, 15:35:15
Advice required.

I have realised that I have planted my asparagus too close together at about 6-9" in a straight row. There are 10 plants some 4 years some 3 years old. The crowns were planted deeply about 12" down.

Can asparagus be moved at their age?

You can buy 3 year old crowns, so it must be possible?

But how did it cope 12" down - 8" is normal??
