Title: Flowering in the garden today
Post by: Mrs Ava on June 27, 2005, 13:34:50
Few more things looking wonderful.

Anyone know what plant number one is?  Tis a shrub, evergreen I seem to think, and as you can see, has these fluffy flower heads now.

fluffy looks like a buddleiha to me. I had one like that, but it's pink and fluffy, so I dug it out to make room for something nice! (sorry - not a pink and fluffy girl!)

St John, nasturians, and other things I can't remember now I'm on this page are lovely!

Lovely plants ..... I always love my garden this time of year it has so much colour and scent, shame I am stuck in an office for most of the day....anyway back to business, your pink and fluffy plant is a Spirea Japonica, I have pink and white ones at home.  Nice plants but they do tend to send up new shoots everywhere..... now back to work before my boss catches me on gardening sites again !!!
Best wishes
Suzie

Thanks for that oh knowledgeable gardening people, I shall have to write that one in my book!  It does sucker around the main plant, but I don't mind tooo much as it is pretty, even if the flowers are only short lived!
