Have planted a dozen of these on a patch where spuds once lived. My question is, have any of you grown these? What can I expect?? How high will they grow??? (worrying now that I will need to go and buy more bamboos!)
No idea. But I'm a bit concerned there's a bean I've never even heard of, let alone eaten.
Where did they come from? (I know: Bosnia...)
I have a sneaky feeling that lovely Dutch seed sender, Ruud, sent them to me. Rudd, oh ruud, where are you when I needs ya?!?!?!
Hi E.J,here i am.And yes i was that nice person who send you those peas.Do you know what i had my first harvest today. When i got some time tomorrow and ofcourse when i dont forget i will take a picture of them. They grow from 1 feet to 6 feet so i think there are more than one spieces involved, never the less the crop like every other green pea i had grown in the past. The flower is pure white
Super, thank you Ruud :-*. However, now I have to go buy some bamboos to provide the poor things with some support! ;D
Confusion,e.j,is it a pea or is it a bean.I have both from my neighbourv and both are from bosnia. What did i gave to you?
HI,E.J here are the pictures.

Bean Ruud, you sent me bosnian peas also, but I haven't sown them yet...do you think it would be too late to sow some now?
I gave my beans some short bamboo stakes today to help them along, but looking at your piccy, they are short beans so they may be able to fend for themselves.
You are a star Ruud! :-*
I think you can sow the peas as a late crop, here some volenteers are sowing there second ones,so have a try.
