sweetcorn, yellow courgettes, butter nut squash, kale, purple sprouting broccoli, 9 star cauliflower (probably both wrong time but hey ho), tomatoes, cuecumber, spring onions, acorn squash, green courgettes, celery and carrots.
best bit
I have been mostly harvesting
lollo rosso, little gem, green frilly lettuce (don't remember the name), onions, beetroot, spuds, calabrese, red onion, broad beans (might be too tough but I'll give them a go) and sweetpeas.
So that's dinner sorted. 7 hour shift on the plot, minus a quick break for a warn cheese sarnie. Do I feel pooped out? Oh yes !!
Today I have been mostly watching tennis ;D

Why?
Today I have been mostly changing nappies. Roll on Sunday!
What a great day you have had Baggy, very productive planting and satisfying harvesting, someone is going to sleep well tonight.
We spent the afternoon at our lottie. It was a beautiful day and without that horrible humidity, as there was a nice gentle breeze. I weeded and made a netting out of twine for my squashes to climb up - all looking good. Took the netting off my brussel sprouts as they were looking very restricted and we dug some of our garlic up, and success, it looks great after having my doubts about it. These days are perfect with everything starting to look very lush and verdant. Heres hoping for another good day tomorow. :) busy_lizzie
I have the hoards arriving to scoff the lotty produce. Only had to supply the meat and quorn loaf and that is dinner sorted. Got loganberries for dessert. Shame I can't grow an ice cream tree. Now that would be interesting :P
Busy busy busy! Bet your plot looks fabulous with all those wonderful new plants! Hope the veggies went down well with the hoards!
Saturday we took kids out for lunch to congratulate number one step daughter on her excellent school report and today we took the three of them swimming.
Tomorrow, when they are all at school, I WILL get to the allotment!
well done Baggy!

On Saturday I did no gardening. Didn't even water anything after the downpour on Friday evening (hooray!) On Sunday the only gardening I did was water a few pots and the mini greenhouses. Very odd. (probably due to having had only two days at work the previous week, so I spent an extra few days working in the garden!)
