Title: Pickling Chillies

Hello, does anyone know of a good way/recipe to pickle chillies. Some i get from the delli are delish and some i get are ordinary.

This is what we did last year with our jalapeno chillies. Washed them after picking. Core them or I sliced mine and left the seeds in! If left hole, slit them. Combine 4 cups water with 4 cups white vinegar. simmer but don't boil. Add 4 tea spoons of salt. Pack chillies  tight into jars. Pour hot vinegar mix over the chillies leave a small gap at top of jar. Then close up with lid. They were great. just like the one you get at the cinema on your nachos and cheese. Hope this helps.

And don't forget to add them to your cheap sherry as a condiment?

All the cheap sherry gets drank (drunk) in my house....
