Post by: Carol on June 22, 2005, 20:56:00
Took these pics few weeks back.  Heard 5 Bulls were in a field nearby so had to have a look.

That's what you get after too much womanizing.

Great piccies but somehow I think it would have been 4 bullocks and 1 bull otherwise all h.ll would have been let loose with those cows being nearby.  ::)

No way can you put multiple bulls in the same field unless they're tethered to keep them apart! I have seen it done, but only once. That big guy's surely a bull, but the one in the background looks more like a bullock, he's quite a bit thinner.

Ok ok got it wrong AGAIN......  they must not be cows but bullocks......  5 Bulls were in the field but only this big lad was near the fence the others were at the other end of the field.   I still like them tho. bullocks or otherwise!!!!!

Reminds me of when we first moved to East Sussex and my husband decided to buy a Jersey cow. I was really worried one day when she was making a heck of a noise. I nipped over to the farmer (his name was also Farmer!) who lived opposite. He said she is "bulling" what the heck did I know until he explained she needed a husband ;D Incidently I did all the milking and Rosa and I were both pregnant at the same time so I said to husband... one of us has got to go as I cant keep getting down on the stool. The rotter said OH let me think about that!!!! Lorna
