Well, only a few at the moment , but lots more thinkingabout it.
They're 'sweet olive' cherry type - with Plum type 'Italia' hot on their heels I hope.Â
Terri ;D 8) ;D
Bet they'll taste good.
:) Argggh wattapain you really are!! I am green with envy But well done they do look lovely!!
Mine are just a twinkle in their flowers.
Nice work! Mine are still green, but there's plenty of time yet.
:o Wow I'm dead jealous ;D mine aren't doing anything yet, me thinks winter will finish mine off if they don't hurry up. >:( ;D
But just rememberthese are the ones sown in Feb and kept in the greenhouse - all the others which were sown in April and planted out as normal are the same as yours - ie green and small. Thy won't be red until late July at the earliest and quite possibly august like last year. Lastyear I got so fed up waiting that I decided to try early ones so that's waht I did.
And Tim, yes they are bl***y gorgeous, but I still prefer the outdoor ones as I think they taste even better.

Wattapain. I will just shout "I am VERY jealous" still seems I am not alone so might get a taste pf my Grdeners delight sometime this year(they are in greenhouse) Happy gardening Lorn.
Mine have started reddening. Went outside yesterday, and here was this little offering. Started off in a greenhouse, then put near the back of my house in pots.

watta nice truss !
Did someone say truss?
(Nectar)
i said truss not que !!!!! lol
Not red - but another truss that I like. 16 toms.
Palla di Fuocco.
aha! i am not the only one resorting to major engineering trying to hold the trusses up :D
Nice Tim. I have 'peacevine' in the greenhouse which appears to be a yellow cherry variety and they are well laden trusses also.
Brag ye not, as Howard would say!
No - just to confirm my belief in Nectar. The trusses shown above - 2 per plant at that time, & 24 to a truss - have now been eaten, & this is the next lot. Pity - I had just picked the real red ones when I decided to record. Bigger than 'cherries' but neater than 'standard'.
And for anyone (Emma?) growing Fiorentino, they are ripening orangey. Vida Verde say that they would expect them to be redder.
