There is always something new to experience. This year will see many new crops for me, one of the most exciting is garlic and tonight saw the first head dug up and eaten. Given the amount of rust on them I am more than happy!!!!!!

The allotment certainly is giving me more room to experiment and we will certainly benefit from the home grown food!

How you going on with the Chickens Jerry?
The hens are great, they dont like the hot weather too much but they are certainly having an impact on the slug population in the veg garden. One hen, the black one has gone broody but were are trying to break that cycle. Averaging 4 to 5 eggs a day so plenty of omlets, boiled eggs, gratin, etc.
