Just hope you weren't in the office??
And that's with shading & 24 vents!!
I was at the plot at 9am this morning and my squash plants looked the same! Poor things, one extreme to another!
That's just how I feel! Will use paddling pool water to refresh my plants tonight!
Thank gawd I watered Friday, worked 12 hour shifts yesterday & today, now I've got 2 lovely days off, bound to snow tomorrow
:( Have been experiencing same wilting problems this last few days, :( Have resorted to painting on cool glass at one end ( hate the appearance of the stuff) as well as my blinds, which has helped a bit but have also been damping the floor down too, even with all my vents, widows, doors & fans wide open it has certainly been hard for the plants !!!!............. ::)
Made the mistake of spending 2 hours hoeing in the sun!! :P
:( :) Bad mistake me thinks!!!!!! :P although good if you want a tan I suppose!!!!!!!!!!!
Never wanted to get a tan......but needed to get in about my jungle. Just
moved house you see inside is now done all rooms but rain kept me in of late
so I had no option the weeds triffids and other assorted plant life had to be
addressed..am now burnt to a cinder :'( :'( I have like 5 years growth to
tackle am lookin for any ideas should I nuke.......should I burn or dare I say it
in fear of closet organic gardners jumping out the woodwork weedkill it.....??
oh n by the way you have a big un !!!!
:o Well I think if it was me, & it had 5yrs of weed growth I would start with the weed killer first, while the weather is dry (if it is with you) Then when died back clear all the dead top growth then rotovate if poss to take out initial back breaking digging, & keep that up until nice tilth achieved & as many weeds as poss removed. You may need to weedkiller a few times, but if you want to stay organic if you are only going to go that way then I think you may have lots of digging to do, I rotovated & weedkillered ,with great success a patch a few years ago ;D
