Title: Disappearing strawberries!
Post by: plot51A on June 13, 2005, 07:36:51
Help please! I got some new strawberry plants last autumn - they've taken fine, loads of flowers, setting fruit - now the biggest berries have disappeared, and not because they're ripe, still green. No trace left. Can it be those mice that seem to have eaten 2 sowings of peas even though they were netted? Should I net the strawberries? Newbie at all this and haven't a clue what to do!!

Yes you should def net them.

Before I netted mine I had deer eat all the leaves.
