Here is one of my many pics taken while in the Highlands last week. The scenery was just fantastic, well worth a visit folks and no midgies round us!!!!

Thanks. Got loads, will reduce them a bit more.
;D Thanks Carol, but don't reduce them, they fit nicely and are gorgeous ;D
What lovely pictures Carol ;D, what's the Castle?
Twospot. That is Stalker Castle, up above Oban on the way to Fort William.
Trying hard to copy more Roy, but not efficient at this photo copying bit.
:o Just do it do it :o ;D Sorry can't control my excitement, I'm just ravenous for more piccies PLEASE! ;D ;D ;D 8)
Thanks Carol, had initially thought it was Eilean Donan but soon realised it wasn't. Knew there was another castle up that way on an island but couldn't remember what. Mystery solved ;D
Absolutely beautiful Carol, I have saved one of them as a desktop photo, I hope you don't mind :) Keep them coming :)

What lovely pics. You can almost smell the fresh air. ;D
Just beautiful, Carol.

:) Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous, ;) I so enjoyed my holidays there and my only regret now is that we never had a digital camera, we have snaps but my scanner only makes them look worse, mores the pity. :(
Some of those mountains are awesome, scary to, towering above us and at times making us feel a little claustrophobic in an awesome kind of way. ;D
Thanks Carol, I’ll not tire of Scotland’s Hills, Mountains and Lochs. ;D 8)
Hiya,
they are better reduced. Saves scrolling right to see full detail and then scrolling left to see who sez what.
Beautiful none the less (meant to put this first)

Fantastic Carol! How I adore the Highlands and spent lots of holidays there in my teens. Can smell the cold fresh clean air, see the moody moving colours and hear the wind in the mountains...................................................... Wonderful photographs Carol.

Awkward for text reading but awsome for views that I think outweighs the text. Take a peek at this. But before you do, click the righthand side bottom corner of the picture to expand to regular size. http://www.gla.ac.uk/medicalgenetics/chighlands/nevisnebpan.jpgÂ
:) wonderful pictures ;D ;D reducing won't reduce the quality. ;D
Wow Roy! Have taken a look at your pic...on top of the world or what?!! Breathtaking.
Not my pic unfortunately, tis one I Googled, the panoramic views give you the feeling your up there don't they? ;D
Stunning pics Carol. You must have been in awe at some of the sights that greeted
your eye.
My sis lives not far from Aberdeen so we have been lucky enough to have a couple
of trips up there ourselves.
They look stunning, Carol.
You should see them with a dusting of snow on the tops - it makes them look even better (if possible!)
The last time we climbed Buchaille Etive Mor (the mountain on the left as you enter Glencoe heading towards Fort William and also one of your photos) we had to cut a ladder in the snow and ice to get to the col.
It is our plan to retire somewhere to the north of Fort William and finish off climbing all of the Munroes (peaks over 3000 feet).
Wish we were up there now rather than fighting a losing battle against couch grass and mares tail :'(
Yes the views last Monday were absolutely stunning because it was such a beatiful day. It is the first time we have seen Ben Nevis with no clouds on top.
your pics are fabulous C ;D ;D

fantastic RB ;D
Hiya Roy,
I have tried clicking on the bottom right of all pictures but nothing happens.
That's some view alright. Just that on the other ones my feeling is that scrolling back and forth detracts from the overall enjoyment of the picture.

C
and just a couple of weeks ago my favourite Japanese newspaper site updated its webpage and it is so annoying, it's just an eighth of an inch too wide for the screen. AAaaagghh. Surely they didn't do it on purpose. It's so annoying, just for that little bit

Hi Ciaran ;) If you rest your cursor bottom right of the picture (not directly in the corner) you should see an enlargement box appear, click it and hey presto!
The panoramic view is awsome ;)

we are off to scotland in october, staying in about the same area (on loch awe)
any tips? :)

Great photos. My grandmother lived in a small cottage in the valley of Ben Regis, with the spey running through her back garden. I have not been back there since she died 12 years ago, had forgotten what a beautiful place it is, must change that and take the OH to see where I spent my school holidays!
breath taking
