:) I think if it was me I would feed it up & water well for a few days & see if compost stays moist. After that I would just make sure it doesn'y dry out. Not sure about feeding but I would probably do it monthlty for a couple of months &  then see how it looks  :) Oh & I would also put some kind of container under the pot for watering & it helps to keep the woodlice out too  ??? ;D

Tree palms need a decent amount of water - they should be watered in the top and the trunk. Spray with a hose every few days in dry warm weather. Shouldn't be forgotten over a dry winter either - this is the time that most people neglect them and they really suffer. Last years leaves will turn brown and you should get new growth this year and cut off the brown leaves.

I am a bad mother!  I never feed my palms, but they do get watered when I water my other pots, which isn't often enough, in a dry spell, once every few days, but I never bother if we have rain, and I hardly water mine through the winter.  They do okay, but then different palms, like other plants, have different requirements.
