Title: What on earth is this?
Post by: undercarriage plan on June 09, 2005, 20:05:19
Found these little darlings all along the underside on the underside of my variagated Cornus.  It looks like woolly aphid, or scale insect?  But they are huge!!  :o :o Any advice greatly received, thanks Lottie

They are scale insects. I must say that is a pretty spectacular infestation! I dont really know why there is so much of the white stuff.

I use meth on anything like that as it evaporates so much faster. All these things could potentially damage the plant.
