Title: Today at my allotment
Post by: Sprout on June 09, 2005, 19:00:44
Took the day off today as weather forecast was good. In spite of spending nearly 8 hours down there, i still didn;t get eveything done. Totally knackered. Was given some sprout plants by my neighbour but one and the promise of some raspberry canes when this summer's crop is over. Anyway, here's some photos:

Very impressed by your nifty-looking slug barriers. Could I ask where you got them from?

Yes, they are slug barriers (around my newly established comfrey bed). Also known in some circles as 'hosta halos'. I bought mine from Ferndale Lodge (www.ferndale-lodge.co.uk) at £9.95 for 6. I understand that other companies sell them as well and some even have lids.
