Marianne - I assume so. The 3 packets I sowed this year got a bit mixed up!!

We used to have self-sown double poppies all over the garden each year, & suddenly there weren't any - so I bought seed.

They are very beautiful Tim !!  I am looking forward to my own seeding this year.  You are right in saying that some years, they do NOT come up  ???  God knows why  ???

lovely. They look like Opium poppies to me?

I can't get the annuals to grow in my garden. I suppose it's because it's too wet and heavy. My orientals are in bud, though.

Oh, goodie, Aqui!!

Wouldn't argue - I just thought that they looked rather more up-market than the 'opium poppies' that we thought we had.

I have seen several different coloured poppies - but don't recall that shade.
Lovely, isn't it.
