By 'eck it is 'orrible owt there this afternoon. Don't know why I came over all Alan Titchmarsh then!
It is blowing a massive gale, thundering and the rain isn't falling from the sky, but howling across the garden hortizontally! Glad I pegged the sheets in!
We had some of that!! just as we were trying to put the shopping in the car - lovely :). Hope its better for the weekend ...
Vertical stair rods we've had!!
Almost went to the Lottie this pm...lucky escape I think! :o
I was with my best pal who is terrified of thunderstorms and my poor husband who couldn't see where he was driving and we had to pull over, but .... wasn't it fabulous?! :D
It's been a lovely day today in Whitley Bay, though a bit humid and then after tea the heavans just opened and down came the rain. Hope it is dry tomorrow have just got to get those squashes in. :-\ busy_lizzie
Same as that, in fact me Squashes are getting very squashed
Blimey is that what it is like over on the North Island? I start wending my weary way to the NEC tomorrow to get the garden built for Gardeners World and I ain't looking forward to it if the weather is going to be iffy. The whole garden is going to be packed on the lorry tonight so we can get an early ferry, then the whole lot is exposed to the weather for a week during build-up and all my loverly plants that have been mostly grown and tenderly cared for are in for a big shock unless I can keep them covered.
If anybody is going, come and have a chat on the EX-SIGHT-ABLE garden. Just ask for Ace you will recognise me as I am the one that has had a big whack with the ugly stick.
Photos please, Heritage??
Thunder etc - you were warned??
Good luck with the show Heritage, and yes it would be great if we could see some pics of your work :)
Yes, show us some pics :)
Yes I hope to take some photos with some of the forum members in the garden.
