Title: mini greenhouse falling over?
Post by: aquilegia on June 03, 2005, 10:04:49
Stop your mini plastic greenhouse from being blown over by putting a few heavy slabs on the lowest shelf. This makes it much more bottom heavy and stable.

Works with mine anyway!

Thanks for that, mine seems to be ok with two growbags on the bottom at the moment, but prevention is better than cure ;D

The plastic cover on mine ripped to shreds and blown away in strong winds one winter. I kept the frame and this year I have covered it with enviromesh. It provides that bit of shelter that some plants need and the wind doesn't attack it like plastic.

Nad should your mini greenhouse cover get wripped the shreds, use the frame as staging in your regular greenhouse!  ;D
