Title: help what is it
Post by: glynthered on June 02, 2005, 18:51:45
i found a little red bug mating on my lilies. It looks like a lady bird but half the size with no black spots. It has 2 feelers and four legs I think. It had a hard shell. Please help and tell me if it is good or bad for my garden. I would import a picture but I don't know how to!!!It was enjoying the lilies and she wasn't wearing them!

BAD BAD BAD! Sounds like a lily beetle, remove and squash or it will happily chomp away at your lillies and leave it's larva behind which can only be described as looking like bird pooh :P
